

Edith Bouchard of Canby, Oregon passed away November 25th, 20011. She was born March 1st, 1927 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada to Albert and Edith Christmas. Edith lived in Ontario until 1969 when she moved with her husband Al, to Oregon.
On June 28, 1947, Edith married her husband Al in Ontario. They were married for 48 years, until Al passed away in 1995. They always presented a united front in front of the kids, and showed affection towards each other freely. Edith spent most of her life as a wife and mother, but she also worked as a waitress at Fancy Dan’s. Edith was a kind and gentle woman. She was easy going and full of energy, often playing practical jokes on and with her family. She often scarified so that her family or others might have more. She enjoyed knitting, smocking and playing cards; she loved animals especially.
Edith is survived by her son, Greg Bouchard of Canby, OR; daughters Bonnie Sewell of Gresham, OR, Denise Bouchard, of Canby, OR, Michelle Bush, of Coeur D'alene, ID, and Corey Perry of Phoenix, AZ; sister Phyllis Hellner; as well as 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
A public visitation will be held Thursday December 1st at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home from 9-5PM. A funeral service will be held Friday December 2nd at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home in Gresham. Contributions may be made in memory of Edith’s to a charity of your choice. Bateman Carroll Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
