Elizabeth Bugge

Elizabeth "Betty" Bugge passed away at her home in Gresham , OR on July 12, 2014. She had spent the last 19 years in her home living independently, as she loved to do. Betty was born on July 31, 1924 in Lom Linda, California to parents Eugene and Mary Krebs. She was married to Carl Bugge, who passed away in 1996. Betty was a very loving and caring woman; she loved everyone she met, and everyone who she met loved her. She was always glad for avisit from her 4 children or grandchildren, and would always be there to help with any problem the might be facing. Betty also loved to feed strays, whether in her family or cats. She was a great baker, with the best pies around, apple and rhubarb. She enjoyed being outdoors, either in her garden or getting work done around the house, always a "doer", she stayed active as long as she could. Betty was a smart and wonderful woman who will be deeply missed by her children Jeff Bugge, Jan Bugge-Lindquist (Joe Lindquist), Marc Bugge, and Molly Bugge-Moore (Chuck Moore); grandchildren Carlee Bugge, Leah Glavan, Crista Gonzalez, and Kyle Bugge, as well as her 5 great-grandchildren.

In accordance with Betty's wishes, no formal services will be held. Arrangements under the direction of Bateman Carroll Funeral Home, Gresham, OR.
