

Faith Angeline James, a former resident of Boring, Oregon, died on February 9, 2011 in Salem. She was 68 years of age.
Faith was born on April 22, 1942 in Newberry, Michigan and was the daughter of Melford and Margaret (Webb) Justice. She graduated from high school in Gobles, Michigan in 1960 and moved, with her family, to the Gresham/Boring Area. She graduated from Mt. Hood Community College with her Associate’s Degree in Counseling in 1979. She resided in the Gresham/Boring Area for over 30 years. She relocated to Salem in 2006.
Faith held a few odd and end jobs outside the home to help provide for her family but she mostly worked as a homemaker. She found time for her favorite hobbies and pastimes and enjoyed camping, cooking, crafts, sewing and crocheting. Her greatest love was her family and she simply adored the time she was able to spend with her children and grandchildren. She was also a member of the Sandy Assembly of God Church.
Faith is survived by her sons; Albert James of Karney, Nebraska, Daniel James of Portland, Oregon and Andrew James of Salem, Oregon, brothers, William Justice of Sandy, Oregon and James Justice of Boring, Oregon and sister, Rosemary Justice of Sandy, Oregon along with 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 14, 2011 at 11:00 am at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home in Gresham, Oregon. Visitation will be on Saturday, February 12, 2011 from 10:00 am -3:00 pm also at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home. Contributions may be made in memory of Faith to the Providence House in Salem, Oregon.
