

Mr. Whitney served his country in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Eagles Organization. Glen was a very giving and generous father, husband, friend and brother. Glen loved his life and lived it fully. He loved his children and loved sharing his passion for cars and life while teaching them to be good, hardworking people. He was always ready to lend his time and skills to anyone who asked. Glen took immense pride in his craft and loved sharing that. He loved being on the water, fishing, skiing or just relaxing on his boat. He enjoyed golfing with his family and friends. He enjoyed bowling and woodworking. Glen owned the Golden Hammer Auto BodyShop for twenty years, and then worked at Custom Touch until his retirement. After he retired he became a handyman and enjoyed remodeling houses and RVs.
Mr. Whitney was preceded in death by a son Daniel Wykes, brother Daniel Whitney and a granddaughter, Kala Hardy.
Mr. Whitney is survived by his former wife, Deborah Whitney of Florida; his son, David Wykes of Oregon; two daughters, Kelly Hardy of Alaska; and Heather Scott of Oregon; his two sisters, Terry Thompson of Washington and Maureen Whitney of Oregon; his two brothers, Mark and Michael Whitney of Oregon; and his seven grandchildren, Mikayla and Braydon Wykes, Katherine Nuttall, Lucas Runke, Christine Horner, Amber Whitney and Brenna Hardy, and his one great granddaughter, Rhendan Nuttall.
A celebration of Glen’s life will be at Lydia’s Restaurant on Sunday, December 13th at 1:00 p.m. No flowers, just the pleasure of family and friends enjoying life and laughter.
