Mr. Gregg Allen Bentley

Gregg Bentley of Gresham, OR died Wednesday May 2, 2012. He was born on March 25, 1949 to Herbert and Eileen Bentley in Denver, CO. He moved frequently during his childhood, but was raised mostly in California. He graduated from High School in Branson, MO, and attended college in Southern California, where he got his Associate’s Degree as a contractor.

In 1969 Gregg married Suzanne Wilson in Felton, California. Together they had 42 love filled years of marriage and 3 children. With many years of experience as a carpenter and general contractor, Gregg started his own company, GA Bentley Construction, Inc. in 1979. He was a great man who faced life head on and danced to his own tune. He was truly a self-made man, and was a mentor to everyone who knew him. He loved his family with all his heart, and was the love of his family’s life in return. Gregg enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, going on safari, and traveling. He was a dynamic person, who lived his life with love, honor, character and strength, and passed those same values on to his beloved family.

Gregg is survived by his wife, Sue; children Mark H. Bentley, Brian A Bentley, and Angela M. Drozda; and grandchildren Lane A Bentley, Paige B. Bentley, Jared A. Bentley, Erin R. Bentley, Trevor J. Bentley, Preston G. Bentley, Cole T. Drozda, and Ruby S. Drozda. In accordance with Gregg’s wishes, no services will be held.
