

Jimmie Lloyd Lowther, 53, passed away on June 17th, 2015, in Portland, Oregon. Jimmie was born on September 28, 1961, in Upland, California, to his parents; Jimmie Lee and Loretta (Alford) Lowther. Jimmie graduated from Chaffey High School in 1979, and he attended Chaffey Community College.
Jimmie loved planes, and he enjoyed his work as a machinist for Boeing. He spent 3 months abroad in Germany working on planes as well.
Jimmie was a family man above all; on February 2nd, 2002, Jimmie married his wife Sharon. Jimmie was also a proud father of his seven children, and a grandfather of five grandchildren. In addition to being a family man, Jimmie also enjoyed fishing, boating, competitive sports, as well as spicy food and delicious sweets. Jimmie will be remembered for his 101 ways of making hot dogs.
Jimmie left a lasting legacy and touched the lives of many people. He will always be remembered for his huge heart, hard work, loyalty, honesty, and knowledge. Jimmie was like family to all who knew him, and he will be remembered for his love and devotedness to his family. He believed in doing what you loved in life, and doing it with the ones you love.
Jimmie was preceded in passing by his parents; Loretta and Jimmie Lowther. He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon; his children, Michael, Alexa, Jessica, Jimmie Lee, Andrea, Jamie, and Kylee; his sisters, Lorie and Jackie, and brother in law, Wolf; sister in law, Karen Kurtz; mother in law, Barbara Houser; and step mother, Gloria Lowther. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, and five nieces and their families.
A Celebration of Jimmie’s life will be held on Friday, June 26th, 2015, at 4 pm at 1442 Jackson Park, Troutdale, Oregon 97060. He will be missed.
