Jonathan Alan Williams

In loving memory of Jonathan Alan Williams, age 28, of Monmouth, Oregon. Jonathan passed away on March 30, 2025. Jonathan is survived by his mother, Mary Williams (Gresham), father Kennan Williams (Roseburg), sister Elizabeth Williams (Turner), brothers Cory Williams and Christopher Williams. Also survived by his grandmothers Karen Foster and Marion Rhoades, aunt Christine Foster, uncle Daniel Foster, uncle Peter Michalski and cousins Sarah, Emily, Dakota and Sierra and numerous other family members.

Jonathan was preceded in death by his grandfathers, John Foster and Harry Williams, uncle Andrew Foster, his aunt June Michalski, and cousin Angela Schacht Foster.

Born March 8, 1997, in John Day, Oregon to Mary and Kennan, Jonathan grew up in Long Creek, Sutherlin, and Gresham, Oregon. Jonathan graduated in 2015 from Barlow High School in Gresham, attended OSU and received his Bachelors of Science, in Computer Science in 2021, from Western Oregon University.

Jonathan was a joy to those who knew him. He was full of love and enjoyment of life. He was kind to everyone he met and highly empathetic to those in need. Jonathan enjoyed playing Dungeons and Dragons with his friends, hanging out with his family, especially his sister and cousins, and caregiving for his clients at his job. He was an avid reader of science fiction and manga. Nothing I could write here would describe the entirety of the person Jonathan was to his family and friends. He will be extremely missed by all those that knew him. He will be in heaven enjoying another family reunion but at the same time always in our hearts.

The service will be April 19, 2025 at 2pm, at Savage Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1740 Se 139th, Ave., Portland, OR 97233.
