Joseph Daniel Mallon

Joseph "Joe" Daniel Mallon, age 68, of Gresham, Oregon passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024.

A visitation for Joseph will be held Thursday, August 29, 2024, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM & Friday, August 30th 10 - 2 pm at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home, 520 W Powell Blvd, Gresham, OR 97030. Private graveside service will be held at a later date, with a public Celebration of Life Memorial at Centennial High School theatre, August 31st at 1 pm.

Joe attended Lynch Grade School, Barlow High School and graduated from Centennial High School class of 1974. He was very excited to attend his 50th graduation party that he will sadly miss.

Joe worked has a Custodian for the Centennial School district. Recently retired after 30 years.

Joe was extremely outgoing and would start a conversation with anyone. His first question was "Where did you go to school, and did you play sports?". He loved music, sports, people and planning how he could get groups of people together. He loved his Saturday morning runs with the Eastwind running and Endurance club. Joe's knowledge of sports stats was so vast, that we sometimes wondered if google got info from him.

Joe was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Shirly Mallon and Brother Daniel (Butchie) Mallon.

He leaves behind 4 sisters Mary Jo Spurgeon (Robert), Patty Hill (Ron) Carmela Johnson (Leighton) Diane Kleinberg (Rob)

Rochelle Browning (niece) Jake Vinson (nephew) Chad Kleinberg(nephew) Meiling Huang (Niece), His team of support people John Vasquez, Tina Vasquez, Dawn Rachels, Nathan Rachels, Melissa Schaefer, lifelong best friend Robert Barkman and 100's of friends. and his 2 beloved cats Lucky and Lacy.

Joe lived life the fullest every day and was always ready for an adventure. Joe you're on the ultimate adventure enjoy the trip.
