He was born at Sunnyside hospital where he began captivating those around him with love from his very first breath.
He began his journey accompanied by his mother and grandmother. Both strong women that shaped his character and made him the source of light and love that he brought to anyone who crossed paths on his journey.
Joshua was biologically an only child, but had many deep relationships with people whom he considered family. (His closest bond was with his spiritual brothers Scottie and Tyson whom he met in childhood and stayed with him through good and bad till the very end)
As many know Joshua has a one of a kind bond with his mother, Jodi, and throughout his life this relationship was his biggest reason for wanting a child of his own. In 2019 Joshua got his biggest wish, a son of his own named Andric. He often spoke of his hopes and dreams for his son and had a sparkle in his eye like no other anytime he spoke of him.
Joshua not only blessed the world with his love, sense of humor, and friendship, he blessed many of us with his gift of art. He was an incredibly talented artist that loved the idea of building his own tattoo shop. But it wasn't just drawing that made up his artistry, he also wrote poetry that many found comfort in during rough times.
Throughout life we meet many friends, but only the luckiest of people got to have Joshua Dean as someone they called a friend. Because if he called you a friend, he meant it for life.
On April 2nd 2022 at roughly 7am Joshua was tragically taken from this world. But even in the very end he was surrounded by those he loved most and was escorted to the other side filled with nothing but the love he gave so many.
