Lane A. Ross, age 29, surrounded by his family, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland. He was born June 11, 1987, in Portland, to his parents Kirk and Marianne Ross. He was a graduate of Gresham High School. He worked as a “pizza boss” at Papa John’s Pizza. Lane truly lived a happy life, living for spending time with his friends and family, upgrading his treasured cars, working a job he loved, and enjoying video games and time spent interacting with friends on social media. The true measure of Lane stems from the imprint he had on those who met him, his affability and warmth, his utter non-judgmental acceptance and love of others, his unassuming and unpretentious nature, his always cheerful nature and keen sense of humor, and his unfailing loyalty and dependability. Truly, Lane had an extraordinary ability to connect with people. He is survived by his father, Kirk, and his two sisters, Lindsay Lange and Kayleigh Ross. Family, friends, and others whose lives Lane touched and who wish to reminisce and celebrate the life of our beloved Lane are invited. A “celebration of life” will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, May 20th 2017 at Spinella"s off the Wall, 436 N. Main Ave. Gresham, OR.
