Matthew Jude Branson

Matthew Branson joined our Blessed Lord in heaven September 4, 2024 after a long battle with cancer. Matthew was born February 13,1990 in Mesa Arizona.

A Mass of Christian burial for Matthew will be held Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 10:30 AM at St Henry Catholic Church, 346 NW 1st St, Gresham, Oregon. Following the Mass of Christian burial will be a committal service at 2:00 PM at Gethsemani Catholic Cemetery, 11666 SE Stevens Rd, Happy Valley, Oregon 97086.

Matthew was a fighter from the moment he entered our lives, enduring many illnesses and afflictions, he met every one of them head on and battled valiantly and most often victoriously.

Matthew loved his family and being outside walking. He was always walking. He loved people and was a kind, generous, caring, person who loved helping everyone he could.

Matthew left many loved ones here when he left, his parents Terry & Connie Branson of Troutdale Oregon, his 4 siblings and their children, Amanda Kimball (Andrew) their children, +Jasmine Kimball, Leah Kimball, Emma Kimball, Isaac Kimball of Albany, Oregon. Gary Branson, his children, Christian Branson, Gary Branson Jr of Mesa, Arizona. Alicia Garcia (Reynaldo), their children, Anjel Garcia, Gabriel Garcia, Salvador Garcia, Reynaldo Garcia Jr of Camp Verde, Arizona, Terry Branson II and his children, Andreas Branson, Dominic Branson, Damon Branson of Portland Oregon. Grandparents Bjarn and Glafira Sorensen of Tempe, AZ. Janice Branson of Florence, Arizona. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Matthew is following his Poppa, Thomas Branson and his niece, Jasmine Kimball into eternal life.

Matthew was and is and will always be our hero!
