Ms. Melanie Jayne Roberts Lange

Melanie “Jayne” Roberts Lange, a resident of Mesa, Arizona, died on June 12, 2010 in Mesa. She was 46 years of age.

Jayne was born on October 14, 1963 in Portland, Oregon and was the daughter of Walter and Judy (Wood) Roberts. She was raised and educated in East County and graduated from David Douglas High School in 1981. In 1982, she moved to Rapid City, South Dakota but returned to East County to raise her family. She moved to Mesa, Arizona in 2000.

Jayne was primarily a homemaker for most of her adult life. She enjoyed time spent with her family and caring for her children. She also enjoyed art, elephants and collecting Precious Moments. She also was a huge Aerosmith Fan. Jayne was kind and had a good heart and will be missed by all who knew her.

Jayne is survived by her six children; Tabitha Lange of Texas, Christi Lange of Camas, WA, Heather Lange of Troutdale, Paul Michael Lange of Arizona and Tyler and Robert Lange both of Troutdale. She is also survived by her parents; Walter and Judy Roberts of Troutdale and brothers; Jon Roberts of Boring and Joseph Roberts of Troutdale along with 1 grandchild.

A private memorial service will be held. Contributions may be made in memory of Jayne to the Dougy Center. Bateman Carroll Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
