Nadell Marie Herrell

Nadell Marie Herrell, age 81, passed away on April 29, 2019, in Gresham, Oregon. She was born on August 21, 1937 in Van Hook, North Dakota to William and Gertrude (Sevalson) Caya. She graduated from Cleveland High School in 1955.

Nadell married her husband, James Herrell, on January 12, 1957 at Sacred Heart in Portland, Oregon. They had four children: Daron, Cynthia, Susanna and Robert.

Nadell worked at McDonalds, and she loved her job! She worked as a cashier at the Drive-thru window, and she enjoyed talking to the customers, many of whom she became well acquainted with. She started on October 6, 1974 and retired after 27 years of service. In addition to her work, she enjoyed playing Bunco with her longtime friends on the first Thursday of every month, watching the “Gameshow Network” and “Dancing with the Stars”, and spending time at the property they owned on the Oregon Coast with her husband. Her family will always remember her as loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Nadell was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brothers Arlan and Gary, and her son Robert. She is survived by her children, Daron, Cynthia and Susanna; her grandchildren, James Gorman (wife Kristina), Melissa Crawshaw (husband Chris), Karina Gorman (fiancé Scott Driscoll), Jamie Cuniff (wife Jennifer), Amber Gaylord (husband Sean), Roxanne Cuniff, Megan Herrell, Kyley Herrell and Hayley Herrell; and great grandchildren, Creedyn, Brinley, Colsyn, Pyper, Ryker, Psyler, Parker, Mariah, Sierra, Aleksus, Sean Jr., Tyler, Kaden and Ethan. She will be greatly missed.
