Robert Allen Beckman Sr.

Robert graduated from West Tech High School in Cleveland, Ohio and then at Baldwin Wallace College in Ohio. He served is country in the US Army during World War II as a field medic. Later he was in the US Air Force Reserves.

Robert was a former president of the Airport Lyons Club. He was involved with the boy scouts. Robert enjoyed traveling and was a great photographer.

Robert is survived by his two sons, Robert Beckman, Jr., who lives in Colorado, son, Gregory Beckman, who lives in Alaska, daughter Barbara and her husband Russell Watts, of Richfield, Washington, plus his three grandchildren: Scooter (Stephanie) Watts, Heidi (Larry) Deas, and John Young; plus his five great-grandchildren; Bailey Fleming, Elijah Watts, Samuel Watts, Helen Young and Tristen Young. Robert was preceded in death by his wife Helen and daughter Elizabeth Young.

Funeral service will be on Friday, February 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home located at 520 W. Powell Blvd. in Gresham, Oregon followed by a concluding graveside service at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Gres
