Robert (Bob) Taylor was born in Harrison, Arkansas on June 12, 1925 to Oralee and James Taylor. In 1938 the family moved to Sunshine Valley, Oregon where they farmed. He married Carolyn Elizabeth Greiner in 1946. They had two sons, Ron and Rick, but Bob and Carolyn were later divorced in 1980.

In the early 1980’s Bob worked with the State of Oregon to turn land he owned near the confluence of the Eagle Creek and Clackamas River into what is now known as Bonnie Lure State Park so that all Oregonians could enjoy and recreate in this beautiful area.
Bob married Dollinda Shawnette Clark in 1989. In 1999 he and his wife moved from the Gresham area to a ranch he built in Sisters, where they have resided for the past twelve years.
Memorial Services will be held at the Bateman Carroll Funeral Home in Gresham, Oregon on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 1:30pm.
