She left behind a hell of a lot of stuff to her sisters and friends who have no idea what to do with any of it. We ask that you wait the appropriate amount of time to get in touch. Tomorrow would be fine.
This is not an ad for a pawn shop, but an obituary for a great Woman, Sister, Cousin, Mother, and Friend, born on January 29th, 1993, in North Hollywood. California. The daughter of Stefhan A. Calhoun, and Annie Marie Calhoun. Of whom we assume were waiting with open arms for the coming of their youngest child.
She leaves behind a very dysfunctional family that she was very proud of and loved unconditionally. Stefhannie was renowned for her lack of patience, not holding her opinions back, and having the knack for telling like it is. She always told you the truth… well, most times, even if it wasn’t what you wanted to hear.
She was a graduate of the School of Hard Knocks. Of which she graduated from with honors. She was genuine to a fault, a pussycat at heart. Or lion, depending on your interaction with her. She sugar-coated nothing, and you always knew where you stood with her. Good, bad, or it was your fault anyway.
Her extensive vocabulary was more than a highly proficient Sailor could ever muster, as she knew more curse words that most of us could learn in a lifetime.
She liked four letter words almost as much as she loved her makeup pallets. She loved to try and paint us visual pictures of how each color went with each of her many wigs. And how amazing each would blend with the another.... {insert squeal}.
She was a master storyteller. She believed in overcooking every story adding glitter and rhinestones wherever possible to fluff the effect, embellish the facts, or just make it sound better.
She will be sorely missed. She is survived by her Sister’s Christine Erroa and her husband Juan, Crystal Loggins, and husband Cori, Jenni White, and Priscilla Calhoun; Her aunts Jackie Kaufman, and Sandi Himelblau; and her uncles, Jon Himelblau, Tony Calhoun and Michael Calhoun. Her nephews Michael, Dayshawn, and Marcus. Her nieces Gina and Charlotte. Her cousins, Coy and his wife Keri, Cere and her husband Tony, Errol, Amanda, Richard, Corey, and Carly. Her immense Chosen Family, all of whom can attest to the tenacity, wit, charm, and unconditional love and support she bestowed upon anyone who felt unseen, unloved, unworthy, or unwanted.
All who loved her dearly will never forget her passion for the stage, her want for more, and her inability to use her inside voice.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.batemancarrollfunerals.com for the Calhoun family.
