Tabita Blaj

TABITA BLAJ was born of Iordache and Anica Ierimia on August 24, 1933 in Cernavoda, Romania. Because of WWII breaking, she completed only 4 elementary grades, then worked with her family farming for other people in Saligny Village.

Tabita marries Titu Blaj on January 6, 1957 and together they had 5 children. She remained a housewife until May of 1984, when she emigrated to the USA. She and her husband opened and operated and Adult Family Home until 2000.

Throughout her life Tabita was a strong believer in Jesus, a faithful wife, a loving and caring mother, and a servant to the brothers and sisters of the faith.

When her husband passed away in 2006, she moved and lived with her children until her death on September 17, 2018.

Tabita is survived by her brother David Ierimia (wife Maria) and their children, and nieces and nephews from her 3 brothers and 1 sister. She is also survived by her children, Elizabeth, Andrei, Paul, Titus and Mihail, along with their spouses, children and grandchildren who will greatly miss her.
