Zachary Alan Guinn, 41 of Portland OR, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2015. He was born on November 15, 1973 in Portland, Oregon to Kenneth and Patricia (Calcagno) Guinn and graduated from Sam Barlow High School. Zachary trained with the Oregon Ballet Theater and studied with the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandise in San Francisco, California. He worked as a fashion designer for Columbia Sportswear before switching careers and studying with East West College to work as a massage therapist. He enjoyed managing The Worthington, was an avid gardener and loved his animals.
Zachary is survived by his partner Keith Main of Portland OR; mother Patty Meadows (Thomas) of Sandy OR; father Ken Guinn (Meghan) of La Center WA; sisters Amy Weed of Gresham OR and Jeanine March of Beaverton OR and six nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Zach’s Life is pending. Contributions may be made as Donations to the American Diabetes Association. Arrangements entrusted to Bateman Carroll Funeral Home in Gresham, Oregon.
