Ann Goins Jones

Mrs. Jones was born in Spalding County and spent her life there. She is preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur Preston Goins and Nettie Mae Goen Goins, and beloved husband Jack Linwood Jones.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jill and Randy Laster of Pike County; two granddaughters and a grandson-in-law, Holly Laster of Asheville, N.C. and Jenna and Denton Giles of Atlanta and Nieces, Shannon Lawrence and Maryellen Penland.

Mrs. Jones loved spending time with her family. She travels extensively and loved the St. George's choir in which she sang for over 60 years.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 2:00 PM at St. George's Episcopal Church. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00Pm until the service hour in the church parlor.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. George's Episcopal Church Choir Fund in memory of Mrs. Jones.
