Ms. Barbara Yvonne "Babs" Walker

Ms. Walker was born September 2, 1957 in Atlanta, Ga. She was the daughter of William G. Walker Jr. and the late Barbara Bunn Walker. She was a former department head for Cooper Standard and a member of the First Baptist Church of High Falls. Babs was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was an avid sportswoman and coached several women’s softball teams. She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Bunn Walker and her brother, George T. Walker.

Survivors include her father, William G. Walker Jr.; William Allen Walker;brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Kimberlee Walker; sister, Sherri Walker Collins; several nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Harley also survives.

Funeral service for Ms. Barbara Yvonne “Babs” Walker will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2012, at 2:00PM in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Tracey Perdue Goodman will officiate. Interment will follow in Griffin Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, September 5, 2012, from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
