

Mrs. Blankenship was born January 31, 1942 to the late Wilbur Turner and the late Iris Bryant Turner. She loved the Lord, enjoyed gardening and was a proud military grandmother. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, William Blankenship.
Survivors include her daughters & son-in-law, Angela Boothe of Hampton, Debra Elkins of Hampton, Cynthia & David Walker of Dahlonega and Kimberly Shepherd of Hampton; sons, Timothy Boothe of Hampton and Randy Boothe of Griffin; numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren; sisters, Gladys Clark of Clairmont, FL and Mary Falls of Augusta, GA and brother, Clair Turner of Edgeville, S.C.
Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Sue Blankenship will be held Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Haisten McCullough Funeral Home, 1155 Everee Inn Rd. is in charge of arrangements.
