Mrs. Betty Gene Rigsby Smith

Mrs. Smith was born June 5, 1937 in Griffin to the late Henry C. and Mary Daniel Rigsby. She was also preceded in death by a son, Millard Warren Smith and brothers, Henry C. Rigsby and John Rigsby.

Survivors include her husband L.W. Smith of Milner; daughters, Diane Austin and Robin Martin both of Pike County; sons, Ray Smith of Lamar County and James Smith of Griffin; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Gene Smith will be held Friday, March 5, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Thursday, March 4, 2010 from 5 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
