Carlton Dewey Maddox

Mr. Maddox was born July 17, 1930 in Hampton to the late Dulane Brooks Maddox and the late Tommie Lou Oglesby Maddox. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lucille Maddox.

Survivors include sons & daughters-in-law, Steve & Bonnie Maddox of Thomaston, Jeffery & Beverly Maddox of Zebulon and Alan Maddox of Molena; daughters & son-in-law Angie Raybon of Thomaston and Marlene & George Moore of Augusta; sister, Betty Melton of Thomaston; brothers, Ralph Maddox of Jesup, Tracy Maddox of Griffin and Lane Maddox of Griffin; sisters, Shirley Fuller of Cleveland and Hilda Dutton of Thomaston; 12 grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Carlton Dewey Maddox will be held Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Rev. Terry Butler will officiate. Interment will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Saturday from 12:00 noon until the service hour.
