Mr. Crosby L. Day

Mr. Day was born February 15, 1935 in Holyoke, Massachusetts. A movie classics expert, he retired from the Orlando Sentinel in 2003 where he wrote a syndicated column, “Movie Classics.” He also wrote a similar column for a brief period for the Griffin Daily News. He is a graduate of Georgetown University, Washington, D.C.

Survivors include his loving wife, Sally Ann Day; special sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Marc Beaven and special nephew Gabriel Beaven all of Griffin and nephew Michael Beaven of Boston; special brother-in-law, John R. Volk, Melbourne, Florida and special son-in-law, Gary Whitney and his wife Joyce of Eustis, Florida.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
