Denise Hay

Susan Denise Hay "Aunt Neci” of Westminster, CO went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 5, 2015. She was 57 years old. Denise was born February 7, 1958 in Atlanta, GA. Denise is preceded in death by her parents, Mark and Helen Hay of Covington, GA and twin brother, Wayne Hay of Stockbridge, GA. She is survived by her beloved companion, Arthur "Art" Dotson, of Westminster, CO, her sisters, Elaine Poynter of Meansville, GA and Vickie Harris of Houston, TX. Nieces and nephews, Robby Poynter of Stockbridge, GA, Belinda Burdette of Meansville, GA, Michael Poynter of Oxford, GA, Cindy Knapp of McDonough, GA, Richard Poynter of Valrico, FL, Tanya Vickers of Lithia Springs, GA, Brandon Johnson of Baytown, TX and Tiffany Crim of Woodstock, GA. She has 17 great nieces and nephews. A graveside "Celebration of Life" will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Fairview Memorial Gardens, 164 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, GA 30281 and will be officiated by Rev. Cortt Chavis and Kenneth Pinion. A special Thank You is extended to Rocky Mountain Oncology Clinic, Hospice Denver and Hospice Atlanta Center for the treatment and loving care given to Denise throughout her journey to her miracle. Haisten McCullough Funeral Home, 1155 Everee Inn Rd. is in charge of arrangements.
