Doris Clark Blessett

Mrs. Blessett was born May 5, 1926 in Jackson. She was a member of Second Baptist Church. Mrs. Blessett was preceded in death by her parents, Talmadge & Lois Fogs Clark and husband, James Ellis Blessett.

Survivors include daughters & sons-in-law, Jean Jackson, Peggy & Reggie Williams, Joyce & Bobby Mullis, Barbara Blessett and Gwendolyn Blessett; sons & daughter-in-law, James, Jr. & Sandy Blessett, Ronnie Blessett and Bill Blessett; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Martha Almon, Hazel Lumus and Gloria King and brothers, W.J. Moss and Oliver Moss.

Funeral services for Mrs. Doris Clark Blessett will be held Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Rev. Marlene Slaton will officiate. Burial will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family 1 hour prior to the service.
