Mr. Martin was born on October 30, 1938 in Thomaston, Ga. He was the son of the late James Horace Martin and Anne Ingram Martin. He was a retired landscape technician with the Dekalb County Parks and Recreation Department.
He is survived by his sister, Mrs. Frances M. Woodruff of Griffin; nieces, nephews and other family also survive.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 19, 2012 from 6:00PM - 7:30PM at Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. A time a remembrance will follow at 7:30PM.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donation be made to the American Diabetes Association.
