Everett Gregory "Greg" Crawford

Mr. Crawford was born September 1, 1954 in Griffin, son of the late Edward Everett Crawford and the late Frances Simpkins Crawford. He enjoyed fishing & hunting. Mr. Crawford was an avid high school football fan. He graduated from Griffin High School in 1972 where he played football as an Eagle and a Bear, was a UGA fan and an outdoors man. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his grandmother, Mollie Murray and grandparents, Hugh & Pearl Simpkins.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Merri Crawford of Griffin; son & daughter-in-law, Walter Gregory “Greg” & Ashley Crawford of Griffin; granddaughter, Kailey Crawford, brothers, Edward Grant Crawford of Bethesda, MD and Richard Daryl Timmons of Griffin; sister-in-law, Kay & Bob Burnett of Orchard Hill and brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Dwaine & Lynda Clark of Ormond Beach, FL.

A graveside funeral service for Mr. Everett Gregory “Greg” Crawford will be held Friday, February 13, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Thursday, February 12, 2015 from 5 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
