Mrs. Herberly Perdue Smith

Mrs. Smith was born January 28, 1958 in Petersburg Va. She was the daughter of the later Herbert Lee Perdue and Hallie Delma Wilson. She was employed at the Atlanta Airport Marriott for 27 years. She was a loving wife, mother, and adored her grandchildren. She loved the beach and never met an animal that she didn’t love. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Griffin Ward.

Survivors include her husband, Ronald Smith of Griffin; son and daughter-in-law, Martin E. and Christian Smith of Hampton; daughter and son-in-law, Leah and Ray Brandon of Hampton, grandchildren, Emmalee Hope Smith, Ethan Edward Smith, Hallie Elizabeth Brandon, and Peyton Joseph Brandon; father, Donald Edward Martin; sisters and brothers-in-law, Cindy and Tom Balazik, Roxanne and Bill Brandeberry, Kandy and Gary Howard, and Kelly and Keith Hill; nieces, nephews and other family also survive.

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Herberly P. Smith will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 2:00 PM in Westwood Gardens. Bishop Ben Allred and Tom Balazik will officiate. Friends may visit the family on Tuedsay, December 6, 2011 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
