Rev. Jesse James Hudson

Rev. Hudson was born on July 23, 1932 in Nebo, La. He was the son of the late Thomas and Ella Hudson. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Rev. Hudson was the founding pastor of the Conyers Apostolic Church where he pastored for over 45 years. He was preceded in death by a great-grandchild, Aiden Grant Johnson.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Hudson; children, Karen Hudson, Teresa and Edward Johnson; grandchildren, Brandon and Anessa Johnson, Travis and Bethany Johnson, Grant and Kayla Johnson, and Jesse Johnson; great-grandchildren, Aliyah Renee’ Johnson, Edward Ethan Johnson, Chloe Annabella Johnson, Anna Marie Johnson, Riley Mae Johnson, and Joanna Hope Johnson brother, Rev. E.L. Hudson; special beloved niece, Sandra Jean Hudson; nieces and nephews and other family also survive.

Funeral services for Rev. Jesse Hudson will be held on Friday, July 28, 2017 at 11:00AM in the sanctuary of the New Life Apostolic Church in Cartersville, GA. Burial will follow in the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA. Rev. Hudson will lie in state at the church from 9:00AM until the service hour.
