Mr. Jesse C. Ward

Mr. Ward was born October 25, 1930 in Butts County, son of the late Oliver C. Ward and the late Louise Polk Ward. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Ward retired from United Cotton Goods and was a Wal-Mart greeter.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Goodson Ward of Griffin; son & daughter-in-law, Steve & Robin Ward of Cataula, GA; step-son & wife, Dennis & Debra Grant of Griffin; brother, Charles Ward of Griffin; sister, Christine Ward also of Griffin; grandchildren, Jill Williams, Anna Ward and Matt Ward.

Funeral services for Mr. Jesse Chaffin Ward will be held Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Friday, July 23, 2010 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
