Mr. John Paul Norrell

Mr. Norrell was born in Sugar Valley, Ga. He was the son of the late Edgar Lee Norrell and Cora Estelle Strain Norrell. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and wood-working. During WW II he worked for General Shoe Corporation. Mr. Norrell owned his own shoe repair shop he started after the war. Mr. Norrell will be remembered by his family and friends as hardworking, an avid outdoorsman, and loving to spend time with his family. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Survivors include his daughter, Ellen Brown; grandchildren, Gregory Brown, Michael Brown, and Paula Walker; great-grandchildren, Zachery Brown, Molly Brown, Jessica Walker, Cora Walker, Nicholas Walker, Freeman Brown, and Cheryl Brown.

Funeral services for Mr. John Paul Norrell will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Pastor Marty Smith will officiate. Interment will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
