Mrs. June Weeks

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert E. Weeks of Griffin. June and Robert married June 16, 1957. They were high school sweethearts at Central High School of Phenix City, AL where they made their home before moving to Griffin in 1968.

Survivors also include their three children, Robert E. Weeks, Jr. of Nashville, TN, Theresa Weeks Driver and Laura Lynn Weeks both of Griffin.

Mrs. Weeks was known as “Memaw” to her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Grandsons, Robert David Imes, Jr. and his wife Kelly and their two young sons, Robert Parker and Asher Reece Imes of Atlanta, GA, Jonathan Adam Imes of Griffin, Robert Alexander Weeks of Chattanooga, TN, Granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Weeks of Nashville, TN; brother, Bobby A. Ennis of Rockledge, FL and several nieces and nephews.

June will be loved and missed by all that knew her. She will be forever remembered for her big heart and gracious spirit. She always had a bright smile and kind word for all.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Friends may visit the family 1 hour prior to the service.
