Mr. Lewis Henry Gaines

He was born in Griffin on September 2, 1935, to the late George and Ruby Gaines. Mr. Gaines retired from the Water Department for City of Griffin, was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and Baptist in faith.

Mr. Gaines is survived by his wife, Janice Parks Gaines, daughters, Stacey and Molly Gaines-McCollom, daughter, Michelle Fillmore; son Andrew Duranceau; step daughter, Terri Worley and husband Doug; step son, Billy Mabrey.

Other survivors include grandchildren, Cody, Charley, DJ, Josh, Taylor, Kaitlyn, and Andrew; nephews, Tommy and Randy Greer; cousins, Nelda and Barbara.

Funeral services for Mr. Lewis H. Gaines will be conducted Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Westwood Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
