Mr. Lewis Stevenson Kimbel

Mr. Kimbel was born February 19, 1945 to the late Hundley B. Kimbel and the late Reba N. Crabtree Kimbel. He was a member of Impact Harvest Church and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara White Kimbel of Griffin; sons & daughters-in-law, Rev. Lynwood & April Dunn of Griffin, Frank & Pat Kimbel of Ellenwood; daughters & son-in-law, Tracy & Clif Norton of McDonough and Michelle Landrum of Thomaston; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother & sister-in-law, John & Mary Kimbel of Tennile, TN; sisters & brothers-in-law, Connie & Doug Turner, Louise & Charlie Hamby and Rebecca & Gaylan Freeman; sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law, Jeanette & Dale Mann of Griffin, Linda & Don Haywood of Griffin, Wanda & Bob Durrett of PA and brothers-in-law, Douglas White of Griffin, Roy White, Jr. of Griffin, Floyd White of Griffin and Roy Tarleton of Monticello. Several nieces, nephews and other family also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Lewis Stevenson Kimbel will be held Friday, December 31, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Rev. Lynwood Dunn will officiate. Interment will be private. Friends may visit the family on Thursday, December 30, 2010 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
