Miss Martha Evelyn "Eve" Wilson

Eve is survived by her parents James and Nancy Wilson and a six year old brother, Russ. She was a member of the Griffin First United Methodist Church and attended Pike Elementary School as a third grader. She was active in soccer, dance, and Girl Scouts of America, troop 10311 of Griffin.

Other survivors include great grandmother, Maureen Taylor of Hazel, KY; grandparents, Martha and the late James Donald Wilson of Swainsboro, GA, Alice and the late Sammy Turner of Barnesville, GA; great-aunt, Nancy Rittall of Salem, Oregon; aunts, Beth Wilson and Kathleen Waites of Pawlet, Vermont, Ginger Lifsey & Britt of Barnesville, GA, Crissie & Brian Singleton of Newnan, GA, Stacy & Valdon Underwood of Barnesville, GA; cousins, Katie & Sammy Lifsey of Barnesville, GA, Laura Rittall of Portland, Oregon, and Mark and Matthew Singleton of Newnan, GA.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 6, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at the Griffin First United Methodist Church with Rev. Kevin Lobello officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Egleston Children’s Hospital of Atlanta or Girl Scouts of America Troop 10311of Griffin. The Scouts are taking donations for cookie sales and they will be sent to the U.S. troops overseas and the points collected from sales will help send the girls of Troop 10311 to camp this summer.
