

Mrs. Frances Bell Wrenn, age 80 of Griffin, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Eternal Hope Hospice. Mrs. Wrenn was born March 2, 1937 in Manchester, GA to the late John Banks Bell and Lois Elizabeth Fisher Bell. She was a business education graduate of the University of Georgia, and taught business education at Walter F. George High School in Atlanta, and with the Griffin/Spalding school system. Mrs. Wrenn was an active member of Rehoboth Baptist Church where she served in many different capacities. She was preceded in death by her sister, Carol Maxwell. Survivors include her husband, L.C. Wrenn of Griffin; daughter and son-in-law, Allison and Steve Smyly of Griffin, son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Carol Wrenn of Marietta; and grandchildren, Elizabeth, Sarah, and Rebecca Smyly, Justin and Jana Wrenn. A celebration of Mrs. Wrenn’s Life will be held on Monday, May 8, 2017 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home with Rev. Argin Floyd and Rev. Gene Milam officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow at Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donation be made to the Rehoboth Baptist Church WMU, 1304 Barnesville Rd. Griffin, GA 30224. Haisten McCullough Funeral Home, 1155 Everee Inn Rd. is in charge of arrangements.
