Mrs. Peggy Ann Stephens Yearta

Mrs. Yearta was born February 18, 1942. She was preceded in death by her mother, Florine Lydia Carey and father, Doc Stephens.

Survivors include her husband, Doyle Yearta of The Rock; daughter & son-in-law, Shelia & Tim Rollins of Griffin; son, Paul Stephens of Molena; son, Justice Stephens also of Molena; step-daughters, Mae Collins of Griffin, Marie Shepard of Swainsboro, Nancy Yearta of Thomaston; step-sons, Wayne Yearta of Griffin, James Yearta of Manchester, Curtis Yearta of Griffin; step-brother, Ricky Smith of Griffin; grandchildren, Jenny yearta, Wayne Yearta, Jr., Brian Yearta, Jackson Chambers, Tim Rollins, Jr., Sheba Griffin, Brandy May, Derrick Parrot, Jesse Stephens, Jason & Ashley Richman, Lydia Stephens, Rose Hall & Autumn Hall; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Peggy Ann Stephens Yearta will be held Sunday, June 3, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Rev. Terry Butler will officiate. Interment will follow in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville. Friends may visit the family on Saturday, June 2, 2012 from 5 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
