Richard C. Duffey Jr.

Rick was born September 30, 1966 in Atlanta. He was a 1995 graduate of Lee College in Cleveland, TN where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Intercultural Studies. Rick grew up in Cobb County, moved to Griffin in 1997 and relocated to Columbia, S.C. in 2011. Rick was a devoted employee of Caterpillar, Inc. and was a proud and loving brother and uncle that enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a Christian with a tender heart that will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his father, Richard C. & Carol Duffey of Canton; sister, Sherry Duffey Nutter; brother, Brad & Kim Tippens; nieces & nephews, Brittany Ward, Ashley Tippens, Cody Ward & Bailey Tippens; great-niece, Addyson Harrill and great-nephew, Brycen Harrill.

A memorial service for Mr. Richard C. Duffey, Jr. will be held Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home.
