Mr. Thomas John Burns Jr.

Mr. Burns was born on March 13, 1933 in Pontiac, MI. He was the son of the late Thomas John Burns SR. and Anna LaPonsie Burns. He was a veteran of the United States Airforce and worked for Delta Airlines for 31 years. Mr. Burns was of the Catholic Faith.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Mildred Burns; children and their spouses, Andrew J. Burns, Jeanette and Joe Pope, and Debbie and Steve Brady; grandchildren, Ryanna and Dewy Taylor, Elissa Warburton, Lindsey Burns, Leah and Eric Taylor, Taylor Burns, and Ann-Marie Pope and 16 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services for Mr. Thomas John Burns Jr. will be held on Monday, November 28, 2016 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Friends may visit with the family following the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
