Mrs. Virginia "Ginks" Gordon Gordon Dixon

Ginks was born April 22, 1919 in Lynchburg, VA to the late Dr. and Mrs. John C. Gordon. She was a member of the Griffin First United Methodist Church, Young at Heart and DAR. Ginks was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Dixon.

Survivors include sons & daughters-in-law, Robert (Butch) and Laura Dixon and Gordon and Linda Dixon of Griffin; daughter & son-in-law, Dru and Chris Thomas of Gainesville; grandchildren, Ginny and Mark Cummings, John Gordon Dixon and Allison Bunn, Richard Dixon, Robert Dixon, Amber and Gregory Semich, Debbie and James Harrill, Allan Thomas, Christy and Chris Sikes, Leslie Durham and Mark Durham; great-grandchildren, Katie and Anne Marie Cummings, Tristan Semich, Lauren, Kathryn, Matthew and Emilee Harrill.

Funeral services for Mrs. Virginia Gordon Dixon will be held Monday, November 1, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Griffin First United Methodist Church. Rev. Kevin Lobello and Rev. Hubert Flannigan will officiate. Friends may visit the family at the home of Gordon and Linda Dixon on Sunday, October 31, 2010 from 5 – 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Griffin First United Methodist Church, 1401 Maple Dr., Griffin, GA 30224 in memory of Mrs. Dixon.
