William Lee "Bill" Johnson

Mr. Johnson was born June 26, 1935. He was preceded in death by his parents, John H. and Ada Hartman Johnson. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, N.C. National Guard and the Army Reserves.

Survivors include his wife, Glenda Turner Johnson; daughter & son-in-law, Dawn & Anthony Sargent; grandson, Darrian Sargent; granddaughter, Lynsey Sargent; brother & sister-in-law, Hugh & Gloria Turner and sisters-in-law, Marilyn Mitchell and Sandra Turner. Nieces and nephews also survive.

A funeral service for Mr. William Lee “Bill” Johnson will be held Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Friday, April 15, 2016 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

A time of fellowship with the family will be held at New Walk Christian Fellowship Church, 336 E. Solomon St., Griffin following the services.
