Andrew Cameron Stoddart passed away on April 29, 2011 at St. John Hospital in Detroit. He was born on April 14, 1928 in Grenock, Scotland; son of George and Mae Stoddart. "Scotty" was a well respected painter and decorater in the Grosse Pointes for years. He enjoyed golfing and was always available to lend a helping hand to those in need. He was a Mason and Shriner. He leaves behind his son Gordon and an extended family in Scotland, England, and South Africa. He was predeceased by his wife Margaret. A Funeral service will be held on Saturday May 7th at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Avenue, at Vernier Road, Grosse Pointe Woods. Reverend Frederick Harms will officiate. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
