Angeline Lucia Johnson

Angeline Lucia Johnson was born on June 24, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan. She died on Sunday, February 24, 2019 with family by her side. Angeline was a longtime member of Warren Community Church in Warren, Michigan, and she attended many services with her husband at his church, Christ Community Church in Sterling Heights, Michigan. Angeline always thought of others first. She took care of her parents for several years and participated with several missions through various churches. She loved to travel with her husband and they took several summer vacations to the Brown City Campground. Angeline is the daughter of the late Louis and Lucia Novara. Beloved wife of Thomas Johnson for 51 years. They were married on her birthday in 1967. Dear cousin of Steve (Keiko) Nowak and Nancy (James) Prestel. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2019, from 1:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 4:00 pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road at Masonic, Warren. Private burial will be in White Chapel Cemetery in Troy. Memorial contributions to Glorious Freedom Mission, 4311 Third Street, Detroit, MI 48201, would be appreciated.
