Ann Bondy Schollenberger Rackey

Ann Bondy Schollenberger Rackey Died peacefully on August 20, 2008. Ann was born in Hennepin, Illinois the daughter of Alexander and Argia Bondy. She has been a Grosse Pointe resident from 1933 to 2007. Professionally, she was a photographic model early in her career modeling for General Motors, Goebel Beer, North & South American Cruise Lines and for several women's clothing companies. Later she worked in advertising for ten years with Young & Rubicon and Kenyon & Eckhart as an executive assistant. Ann was the beloved wife of the late Gerald E. Rackey; loving mother of Gail Pearse; grandmother of Jennifer Pearse Huey (David) and Jessica Pearse; and great-grandmother of Pearse David Huey and Amelia Pearse. A memorial mass will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, September 27, 2008 at St. Paul on the Lake Catholic Church, 157 Lakeshore Road, Grosse Pointe Farms where she had been a long time member. Her remains will be inurned in the St. Paul Columbarium.
