Anne Hiebl Schroeder

Anne H. Schroeder died on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at the age of 89. She was born on Friday, July 11, 1924 in Germany. Beloved wife of the late Adolf. Loving mother of Lothar (Janice), Edgar, and Norman (Beth). Proud Oma of Norman, Erik (Lisa), Matthew, Kristin (Ian), Jeffrey, and Paul. Great-grandmother of Amelia. Anne, or Oma as her family called her, was an active and independent women, who took pride in her relationships with friends and family. She was a long-time member of GTEV Edelweiss, Detroit and the Austrian Society, Detroit. Her warm spirit and generosity made everyone feel welcome in her home. Where the coffee was strong and the conversations were lively. Visitation Sunday, January 19, 2014 from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd. at Masonic, Warren. Instate Monday, January 20, 2014 from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral Mass 10:30 am at St. Faustina Catholic Church, 14025 Twelve Mile Rd., Warren. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the American Heart Association would be appreciated.
