Barbara L. Reckley

Barbara Linnea Reckley, age 77 of Warren, passed away September 23, 2017. She was born in Cicero, Illinois on March 2, 1940; the daughter of Berger and Francis (nee Anderson) Gustafson. Barbara was a talented artist. She enjoyed several forms of art; including watercolor paintings and vivid picture quilts. She was a member of the Warren Art Society and received many awards for her beautiful pieces. Her family and friends all cherish her gifted works of art. Barbara is dearly loved and will be deeply missed. Beloved wife of Frederick for 58 years. Loving mother of Deborah (Les) Arendell, Christine Prince and Michael (Kimberly) Reckley. Treasured grandmother of Sara (Mark) Seres, Stephanie (Andrew) Erdman, Samantha (Marek) Kusnierz and Blake Reckley. Proud great-grandmother of Elijah Seres. A memorial gathering for Barbara will be held on Saturday, September 30th from 1:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. with a service 4:00 P.M. at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic (13-1/2 Mile) in Warren. Pastor Mark Arendell will officiate.
