Behroz Burjor Ghandhi passed away peacefully among family members on Friday, August 2, 2024 after a hard-fought battle with ovarian cancer and heart disease. She was born on August 23, 1943 in Navsari, India to parents, Alamai and Navroji Deboo, and grew up in Mumbai. Soon after marrying Dr. Burjor Ghandhi, Behroz moved to Detroit, Michigan where they raised two children, Shernaz and Firoz. Behroz adored her children, daughter in-law, Shireen, her grandchildren, Armaity (Ethan), Zarine, Sarosh, and Zane.
Behroz’s life will forever be cherished by her brother, Jimmy’s family, Freny, Rustom, Nina, Jasmin, Ryan, Ariana, Anisa, and Armaan. Her large family and members of the Zoroastrian and medical communities, and her extensive network of friends will miss her youthful energy, sense of adventure, compassion for others, laughter, sharp mind, and strength.
A Funeral Service will be held for Behroz on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at 9:00AM, at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave. Grosse Pointe Woods,MI 48236. A Visitation will follow the service, from 10:30AM- 12:30PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home.
