Bessie Kirkpatrick, age 89 died August 3, 2012 at Evangelical Nursing Home, Sterling Heights. She was born December 23, 1922 in Wayne, Tennessee to the late Joe and Carrie (Keeton) Butler. Bessie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Bessie was the beloved wife of the Roy Eugene, dearest mother of Peggy (Mark) Sillman and Carrie (Dennis) Ginnard, loving grandmother of Mark Sillman, Eric (Helena) Sillman, Timothy (Rachel) Smith, Tina (Joe) Bollini and 11 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Aileen Dickey, Norman Butler, and the late Lillian Whitten, Corene Olive, Earlene Walker, Nell Norton, Emma Berry, Alvin Butler and Jesse Butler. Visitation Sunday, August 5, 2012 from 12 Noon until 8 P.M. with a funeral service Monday 10 A.M. at the funeral home with Rev. James Bostic officiating. Burial will take place at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, Michigan. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Henry Ford Hospice 1 Ford Place, 5A Detroit, MI. 48202 or a Memorial Bench sponsored by family.
