Betty Lou Buchanan died on July 9, 2011 with family by her side. She was 81 years old. Beloved wife of James M. Buchanan. Loving mother of Carol Lazarowicz and step-mother of Jacquelyn Black and James D. (Thea) Buchanan. Cherished grandmother of Brent Lazarowicz and Tracy Wilkelis and great-grandmother and step-grandmother. Sister of Mary Walch and Pat Ricker. Also survived by many loving family members. Funeral 10:00 am on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd. at Masonic, Warren. Visitation Tuesday, July 12, 2011 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Detroit, MI.
